Course Description:

This interactive 3-hour Continuing Education course equips mental health professionals with innovative, culturally responsive tools for supporting identity reclamation after trauma. Drawing on the FIORIA Photography Method, attendees will explore how to integrate client-centered reflection, storytelling, movement, and visual empowerment into clinical work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Rooted in neuroscience and visual narrative, the course offers therapists fresh tools to deepen resilience, reinforce identity, and support healing in a way that honors each client’s unique cultural and emotional context.

Special focus will be given to the Rising Phoenix Experience, one application of the FIORIA Method. Therapists will be invited to consider how their clients might benefit from a Rising Phoenix Experience — and how they themselves can step into this powerful journey of healing and reflection.
